Cursor Repulsion
Experience the physics of invisible forces.
π§ What do you see?βΌ
Hover your mouse over the grid of dots. As you move, the dots will scatteraway from your cursor, as if you are carrying an invisible magnet. The closer you get, the stronger the repulsion force becomes.
π§ Why this worksβΌ
This is a study in Input-Driven Physics Simuation. By mapping the inverse distance from the mouse to the displacement of the grid points, we create a convincing sensation of Tactile Feedback in a purely visual medium.
Your brain interprets the consistent predictable movement as a real physical rule governing the virtual space.
π§ͺ Try variationsβΌ
Adjust the Intensity slider to increase or decrease the "magnetism." High intensity creates a wide gap, while low intensity requires you to touch the dots before they budge.
