Gesture Distortion
The hand as a lens: warping pixels with a swipe.
π§ What do you see?βΌ
Click and drag (or swipe on mobile) across the canvas. As you move your hand, a trail of warped space follows you. The horizontal lines of the grid will bend and stay distorted briefly before resetting.
π§ Why this worksβΌ
This uses Real-time Path Tracking and Line Weight Modulation. By drawing onto a dynamic canvas and using the velocity of your hand to determine the "thickness" of the distortion, we create a sense of moving through a physical medium like water or thick air.
π§ͺ Try variationsβΌ
Speed: A faster swipe creates a thinner, more precise distortion. A slow, heavy movement creates a wide "bow wave" across the grid.
