Perspective Shift
The room that watches you back.
π§ What do you see?βΌ
Move your mouse around the window. The "box" in the center will rotate to follow your alignment. Notice how the perspective lines on the floor and ceiling shift to maintain a consistent 3D world view.
π§ Why this worksβΌ
This demo uses Virtual Camera Mapping. In the real world, moving your perspective changes how lines converge. By mapping mouse coordinates to X and Y rotation, we simulate a "first-person" perspective shift within a static viewport.
π§ͺ Try variationsβΌ
Increase Intensity to make the rotation more extreme. This reveals the "sides" and "back" of the geometry, demonstrating how the brain constructs a 3D model of a scene from just a few moving 2D lines.
